New Contest!

Hi Everyone!

Just a quick post for today.

April is coming to an end, so Chobots is holding a new contest! It's the Coins Rain contest! 

If you're interested in earning some bugs, and possible some citizenship if you win then this contest is great for you!

Just head over to the cafe and start playing the game! I'm eager to see who gets the highest points! I may try and participate :3

Some of my Drawings!

Hi Everyone!

if you know me, you probably know I like to draw, ha. 

I just wanted to share that I'd love for everyone to few my drawings located in the forums in the Art and Videos section!

Here's an example of one of my newer drawings. This one I drew on the Chobots wall.

All my drawings are either from me drawing on there, or in real life paper. 

You can find this one and more in the forums! 

I also draw the avatars of chobot players if I'm asked to and if I have time :)

I hope to hear some feedback on my drawings from you guys in the forums ^_^

Fashion, Fashion, and more FASHION!

 Hi Everyone!

The Fashion Party was today! How did you all enjoy it? I sadly wasn't able to make it because I had to leave right when it was starting!

I did get a screenshot when it was about to start and here it is!

They shrunk us at the beginning, but it just kept getting more packed! So that must have been a good party. I also asked a few friends what they thought about it and they all seemed to have enjoyed it! 

Now, personally I'm really into fashion in real life, and I love dressing up my Chobots avatar as well! I also love looking at how other people dress there avatars, everyone on Chobots has there own unique style and that's great in my opinion.

I wanted to share with you some people I think dress really nice on Chobots, so let's begin!

These three are some of my personal favorite stylish Chobots. They always look amazing! I'd love to know who are some of your favorite dressed avatars :).

Another thing I wanted to share were a few of my favorite outfits to wear on Chobots. I mainly wear these outfits and I wanted to share because I was asked in a message to actually share, ha.

If you ever see me around, I'm most likely wearing these.

(The hair and scarf tend to always be on, for the most part.)

 I was also asked on some personal tips for Chobots fashion.

Some tips I like is, matching. Matching makes any outfit look nice, but don't over match or you'll clash colors which is a " no no " so add some variety of colors.

Accessorize your chobot avatar!

A shirt and shoes, and possibly some bottoms is fine, but with accessories it makes the outfit stand out more! 

There are tons of pretty sweet items in the shop, $hop, and now the Market! I personally am always looking for new accessories in the Market because its a wider variety!

A personal thing I like a lot is a "signature item" 

Having a signature item can make people recognize you more, like for example the girl wavy hair is usually called the " Koiz " hair because Koiz always wears it. 

My personal signature item is the hair from the Samantha quest aka the Samantha hair. Ever since I got it  I don't take it off it just fits everything i own so well so I made it a signature item. 

(If it's ever off I'm probably just messing around with my closet.)

I earned a paint brush today!

Hi Everyone!

Quick post here. I just wanted to share that I finally earned my paintbrush on Chobots today! (April 27, 2013)

I posted this photo I drew of flapiefeet (requested) in the forums -

I saw I got a comment from Koiz saying this!

I was already on Chobots at the time and I got this in a message :3.

Fashion Show Party!

Hi Everyone!

How is everyone enjoying fashion week? I personally love fashion in real life, so I'm loving it! Anyways, back to the purpose of this post.

The Chobots team will be hosting a fashion show!

The party will be held Sunday, April 28  at  9:00 PM (21:00 Cho-Time). We will all meet up in the Disco Lounge, complete with a color changer and wardrobe!

Sell your stuff to others!

Hi Everyone! 

Anchor here with some exciting news! Chobots added a new GREAT feature to the site and it's a pretty rad in my opinion.

It's called the Market

The Market is a place where you can put your items up for auction where other players will bid for them until times out and there is a winner!

This feature is open to everyone!

How to sell -

To sell an item log onto chobots and go to your wardrobe. After you're there you'll notice a blue bin on the bottom left hand corner. This is your Market bin

You will use this to drag items to sell. All you do is drag the item to the bin and a new listing page will open in your browser. Once you are on the new tab, it will ask you how much you want to sell it for as the "starting price" and it will ask for how long you want it up for! It's really simple!

                                                                           After pressing "Create my Auction" your item will be 

listed publicly on the Market for everyone to see and possibly bid on!

How to bid on an item -

To bid on an item you first need to deposit bugs from your Chobots acount to your Market account, all you do is click on the "Add Funds" button located on the bottom of the page and it'll ask how much you want to add. After your account has a sufficient amount of bugs you can bid on items and see if you win them!

Now for the bidding, all you have to do is find the item you want to bid on and hover over it. Once you hover over it, it will say "BID"  in green. Just click that and start bidding!

Some more info about the Market

When you list an item - The item will transfer from your account to the Market. You will not be able to access that item once it's in the Market

When you win an auction - The seller is asked to confirm that they want to sell the item. After they confirm the transaction will be complete and the amount of bugs you bid will be deducted from your account and onto theirs and the item will transfer from storage to your wardrobe on Chobots. If the seller decided not to sell the item last minute a 5,000 bug fee is deducted from the sellers account. As compensation you will receive a 110% if your winning bid. You will be notified via email if the seller denied or confirmed the listing.

When you lose and auction - When it is past end date and you are not the highest bidder the amount of bugs you bidded will stay in your Market Account.

Chobots asks that you price your items reasonably and to not flood the Market with items you know will not sell, it just takes up space.

Some important info -

- The Market's currency is "bugs"

- Both citizens and free players can list and bid on items

- The Market is moderated

- You can't bid on your own auctions

- You can't sell citizenship, premium Shop, contest, or agency items

The Best Video Makers

Hi Everyone!

April Journalists!

Hi Everyone!

It's that time of the month again for Chobots to pick new journalists! Are you guys excited? I know I am, I entered myself.

If you're interested in entering there are a few requirements -

**requirements listed below are from main chobots blog** 

•     Your posts on the blog should be creative and unique - you have to write your own posts, not just copy them from a different source like the official blog. However, you are free to use the pictures that have been used in the posts on the Official Blog.

•    All of your posts don't necessarily have to be about Chobots- you can write about different things like a journal about anything you want. For example, write diary entries, publish interviews, write stories, collect information, report gossip/news 24/7... anything!

•    Your blog must be at least a month old and your blog should be updated at least twice a week.

Being a journalist comes with some pretty sweet rewards such as...

•    Journalist badge on your playercard with your blog title
•    The possibility for your blog to be featured on the play page
•    Your blog will be featured on the Official Blog
•    Moderators will bookmark your website!
•    You will be invited to write one blog post on the Official Blog.
•    You will be added to an exclusive mailing list to receive all the behind-the-scenes information and news before anyone else does
•    One free week of citizenship in the beginning of the month.
•    Automatically receive the feather item
•    PC moderators even though their card is blocked
•    Purple nametag

You're able to submit your blog to try and become a journalist until Friday, April 12th so link be sure to link your blog before it's too late! Once the Chobots team gets through all the entries they'll pick the new journalists!

"Let The Game Begin!"

Just a quick post 

Happy April, this is a little late but how was your April fools? Did you prank any friends? Well I hope you had a good week because Chobots is going to have a "thrilling weekend" filled with many games!

Since Chobots is going to fit a lot of activities, they're putting off game night until next month, but hey at-least we know we'll have a lot of activities to do, right? 

I hope you all enjoy the activities that Chobots has in-store for all of us, I'm anxious to see what happens.

Palm Painting Contest!

this is just going to be a quick and short post about the new contest going on in Chobots.

It's super easy, anyone can participate and hey, who doesn't love a contest right?

Hi Everyone,

It's finally April here, and from what I know Chobots has some really big changes!

The $hop is restocked with some popular items and some new ones as well! It even got a new section! The Citizen section.

If you can see the citizen items have 25 for each item. The reason for that being is, they will be stocked once and won't be restocked for a long time, if ever.

Fun Fact : The Court Jester gives you the ability to do some new mod magic they created!

Another new thing, there are items that you can pick the color of it! When you pick an item with a customizable  color, you can choose the color right there on the $hop page. In addition of the new and improved $hop the new citizen items for the month are here! with a large selection to pick from

They're offering several new accesories, and if you buy the 12 month you get 7 new items!

I don't know how you guys feel about it but I personally love these new updates!
