Shop Update

Hi Everyone!

If you've been looking for an update for your wardrobe then  no worries! The shop has new items added to it! These items can compliment any Summer look and I'm sure you'll all like the items!

From the 10 new items listed in the shops, I personally like the Hawaiian shirt! It's a great "main piece" and can compliment an outfit very well! I love the flowers and all the bright colors! It's a great piece to have for your Chobots Summer wardrobe.

The Best Moderator Look-a-Likes!

As you know, we had a Dress Like a Mod party on Friday (I did not make it as I kept losing connection), but I hope everyone had fun, and I hope you found some really neat moderator twins!  As the moderators had promised, prizes would be given to the Chobots with the best outfits that replicated our different moderators!

Game Night + Jake's Return!

Good afternoon Cho's!
I hope you are all having a fantastic week so far!  I also hope you enjoy to play games because Game Night is this Saturday, June 22nd at 7:30 pm, Cho-Time.  

If you don't know what Game Night is, it's a night that the Chobots team plans ever few weeks, where all of the leader boards on different games are open to the public.  Each first place winner for each game will win the following prizes

• 6,000 bugs
• 10 days of Citizenship
• A hand-held game controller

If you see anyone cheating, send an email with proof and the name of the player to support@chobots.net to ensure that Game Night is a fair experience for everyone.

Now onto a different topic, you may have noticed our Chief Administrator, Jake, has been gone for a while due to personal reasons. Well, he finally returned!  He logged on one day and he had his moderator badge back.


If you see Jake online, make sure you say hi and give him a warm welcome back after a long-awaited arrival!

Dress Like a Mod Party!

As you know, last Sunday we had an Animal Party!  Well, if you didn't make that one, the Chobots Team has scheduled a Dress Like a Mod party for Friday, June 21st.  The party will be held at Cafe Street on the server Chocolate.  The party will start at 17:30 PM Cho-Time.

Farming Contest + Recap

Hi Everyone!

Do you like farming? Or possibly just visiting Daisy? If so, you're in luck! It's time for another farming contest!

Starting today, June 17, 2013 you will be able to compete against you friends in the contest. You have until June 20th to compete and try and get your place in the first place spot! As usual, the winners will receive bugs and citizenship!

Chopix and Choproff + Downtime

Hi Everyone!
Quick post here to inform you all on some things. For one, Choproff and Chopix have returned! We're all happy our good friends were able to return back to Chobots. From what I hear, Agent Q has requested you help Chopix collect the remainder of the nicho spies so don't delay!



Now for he other news. Chobots is experiencing a brief service of outage. The Chobot Developers are working on having it back up withing the next few hours so don't worry. If you have any questions or concerns contact support@chobots.net

Animal Party - Get Ready!

It's a late post tonight Cho's!

As most of us may know by now, the Chobots Team hasn't hosted a themed party in some time!  Well that will all change on Sunday, June 16th, because the staff is going to be hosting an Animal Party!  The party will be held at 7pm Cho-Time on the Vanilla server at the Pet Shop.

How much do YOU know?

Hi Everyone!
Earlier today our friend Maya was around the park and had a chat with Chopix! She said it was a bit awkward because well... she doesn't know much about him! Since that she decided she has a task for us! (Not mandatory) 

Your task for this is to find out some interesting things about our buddy Chopix and present him as a newspaper article.

Tip from Maya: Try focusing on 3 main points and make sure you can elaborate on them! Be as creative as you can!

Hangman/Pictionary!

If you're not busy on the 15th of June, you should come join Coby and some other moderators to play some hangman and pictionary in the Agents Underground at 8 pm Cho-Time!

Summer Journalists!

Hi Everyone!
Now that we have entered June it is that time of the month where Chobots will be looking for new journalists! It's time for a fun update in the program and let new users witness being on the journalism program.

What is the journalism program?
It's a program that helps promote users on chobots who have outstanding blogs created from users all around. If you happen to have a blog and would like the chance to join the journalism program feel free to but make sure your blog meets the following criteria:

•     Your blog must be at least one month old.
•     Your blog should be updated weekly with different things.
•     The posts on your blog are written by you; they are not copied from
      anywhere.
•     The blog should contain creative decorations such as a header,
      a template, etc.

If you think your blog contains all that then feel free to try and join! Don't be afraid! To submit your blog comment the URL link here 
Note: commenting in your blog in other places will NOT be counted.

What are some perks of being a journalist?

•     Your blog will be featured in the journalists bar at the top of the play page.
•     A journalist badge with the name of your blog will be added to your player
      card.
•     Your account will be awarded with seven days of citizenship and a
      feather.
•     You will be able to submit a post that will be published on the main blog.
•     You will be able to private chat moderators even if their player card is
      blocked.
•     Your normal name tag under your Chobot will be replaced with a purple
      name tag.
•     Your blog will be added to the journalists blog roll here, on the main blog.

Congratulations (Luna) Anchor!

Good afternoon Cho's!
Right now, I'm very excited to tell you that our blog co-owner, Anchor, has been promoted to agency!  You have no clue how happy I am for him and I hope you are as well!  His tracker is on the sidebar, so you can see when he is online to congratulate him! :)

I gathered up some friends for the picture :)

Once again, words cannot explain how happy I am for Anchor.  As you guys know, I am about a month old on Chobots, and I still remember on my first day, Anchor was the one who helped me get to know .net a lot more, and made me fall in love with Chobots all over again.  He has deserved this for a long time, and I'm highly proud of Anchor for this accomplishment! :)

New Contest: Research Contest!

Yes you read the title correctly:  There is a new contest!  As summer is coming up soon for most of us Chobots users, the Chobots team has organized a research competition!  You have one week, which means from June 10th to June 17th, to write about the season of summer, and give some interesting information.  All writing must go on the template below.

It's as easy as that!  But you must remember:  You must write all of your information in your own words.  Copying and pasting onto the template from websites is considered CHEATING.  Any user that catches another user cheating will be rewarded with bugs.

Chobots Twitter Feature!

Hi Everyone!
If you enter Chobots (after clearing your Cache) you'll notice a new Twitter Feature! You're able to connect your Chobot account to your Twitter if you have one!

 You'll see the little gadget on your screen located to the far right. After clicking a new window/tab will pop up asking you to sign in. After you sign in you can connect your twitter to Chobots and you'll be able to Tweet FROM Chobots! Pretty cool right?

When you connect it a pop up like this should come up saying "Enter Tweet Text Here!" I wrote example as a Tweet to show you guys. When you have written out your tweet you can click yes and it'll send!

Game Night Recap! 6-8-2013

Hi Everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed Game Night! Baca and I sure did, the magic from the pre-party was absolutely amazing. My friend Bacachoo and I are thrilled we could make it! We thought we'd make a short recap of what happened as usual so let's begin!

At the beginning there was a pre-party before they opened up the score boards. This lasted for half an hour. we witnessed some AMAZING mod magic! Including some magic from our Chobot players! This screen shot was of my favorite moment of the magic! I loved how all the magic look combined! What was your favorite? We also witnessed some pretty gnarly rain!

After the pre-party they opened up the score boards, tons of people were competing and trust me they were all working so hard to get there spots in first place! You had an hour to compete and in the end there were winners! (The winners will be posted in a separate post.) If you didn't win this time, there is always next time! Game Nights happen frequently so don't miss out on this amazing event!





Bacachoo and myself would like to congratulate  all the users who won this Game Night. It's a well earned win!

Chobots: Testing Program

Info about the program:

The Chobots Team needs some help from time to time from players when it comes to testing new features. They need the help so the users can find all the bugs, glitches, errors, etc before they decide to release it to the entire Chobots community. These chosen Chobots will be testing the new program and help so it can make the game smoother to play.


Want to join?:
The Chobots Team is looking for a group up to 10 people (preferably agents) to test it out. They want users that know the game well and are quick when it comes to finding bugs, glitches, etc. As well as users that could come up with suggestions to improve the game!

If you happen to be interested click here and fill out the forum while you have the chance.
Note: former testers from phases 1-5 are able to apply!

Sharing Information:
The testing program is a secret project. The testers are not allowed to share any information on it such as: what's it about, screen shots, etc. If any user is found breaking the rules will be removed from the team and have a temporary ban from Chobots.

Agent Recommendations + Agent Meeting!

Hello again Cho's!
A fresh and brand new main blog post was just posted!  It's that time of the month again, agent recommendations and an agents meeting!  First, let's discuss the agent meeting.  The agent meeting will be held on Saturday, June 8th at 15:30 Cho-Time.  The agent meeting IS NOT mandatory, but it is highly recommended that you attend if you can.

Saturday June 8th- 15:30 Cho-Time

Now, let's talk about the agent recommendations.  You will have 24 hours to recommend Chobots that you think are worthy of agency.  This includes being active within the community, enforcing the rules, helping others, etc.  Don't recommend people just because they're a friend or if they ask you.  Only recommend people YOU think are worthy of having an agent badge.  A countdown for both of these events can be found here, or if you want to comment your own recommendations, this will be the place you are required to do it.  That is all for now!

New Forum Legends + Game Night

Good evening Cho's!
Let me start off this post by congratulating our three new forum legends:  Destrotant, Alexa, and Egotisticalslug!  They have been very active on the forum, and they post terrific content in helping others, as well as creative posts!  Congratulations to these three Chobots for their new Forum Legend ranking!

My Artistic Side

Today I was feeling bored, and I started thinking about what kind of drawings I always used to make back when I played chobots.com (It shut down a few years back), and I came out with this

Music Party Recap!

Hello Cho's!
As normal I was sitting in Cafe Street and I was doing something on another website.  Well, I randomly heard music start playing, and whenever I looked back at Chobots, Coby was there!  Coby stayed for a while and we danced and jammed out to a bunch of songs and wacky tunes!
