Fashion Show

Hi Everyone, 

 If you like to dress up your Chobot in unique outfits and hang out with friends then this event is perfect for you. Chobots is hosting another fashion show for all of us!

If you're interested in attending, the fashion show will be held Saturday, August 31st at 15:30 Cho-Time (3:30 PM). Everyone will meet up at the Cafe Street. Once everyone is there we'll be moved to a staff members house to begin the show. If you're having trouble on on the time situation, here is a countdown clock to help:

Clothing Refresh

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the delayed post but as you may already know, the shop has been updated with some items. I'm sure you'll all enjoy.

I'm sure a lot of our junior players will be happy to see that three out of the five items are available to everyone. None of these items were available until now and some were even designed by some regular users on Chobots. The 'Girl Hair' was designed by SweetOreos. The 'Peter Pan Costume' was designed by Swifter, and the 'Ruby Scepter' (Kings/Queen staff) was designed by me.

Agent Meeting

Hi Agents, 

As you know, every month there is an Agent meeting for various reasons.  It is that time again to meet up for another meeting. It will take place Saturday, August 31st,  at 7:00PM Cho-Time. At the meeting we will discuss some "top secret stuff" as stated on the main blog so I hope you all can make it. Although it isn't mandatory to go, it's strongly encouraged.

Journalists

Hi Everyone!

At the start of every month, Chobots looks for new journalists. September is just around the corner so it's time for September journalists to be found! If you are curious on the requirements it takes to be a journalist, here they are:

• Your blog has to be at least 1 month old
• Your posts must be original and all your own work
• Your blog must be updated weekly so it's up to date
• You also have to be creative with your blog (The way you present it)

If you think you have what it takes to make it for this months journalism, submit your blog here

Being a journalist comes with some perks and here is what they are:

• Your blog is featured on the main blog and on top of the 'play' page
• You receive 7 days of citizenship and a feather hand item
• The journalist badge is added to your player card at the bottom right hand corner
• The ability to private chat moderators even when the player card is blocked
• Possibility of writing a post for the main blog
• Your name tag is turned purple

You are able to submit your blog until August 31st. So be sure to submit your blog as soon as you can if you are interested in becoming a journalist.

Back to School Party

Summer Story Contest

Hi Everyone,

Summer has or has been coming to an end for all of us and everyone is returning to school. I hope you all enjoyed your 'Chobots-Summer' for the time you spent on here. Chobots has decided to host a contest about your Summer memories/adventures on Chobots. Below are the templates you could use:

Updated Rules

Hi Everyone,

Update 8/25/2013: We have reinstated "No Dating" as a rule on Chobots.

The staff has decided to update the rules to give users more freedom so because of that a few of the rules have been removed.

The following rules are the ones that were removed:

Advertising Sharing of Chobots blogs and videos are encouraged. However, we ask that you refrain from sharing other sites. 

Asking to be a Agent Wanting to be an agent is a great goal to have. However, please do not ask to be an Agent because it will lower your chances of becoming one in the future. If you want to learn some more information about becoming an agent, please read this  

Dating Chobots is a family game targeted for children 4 to 16 years old. We do not allow dating on our game. 

Asking for items We have many wonderful games to play on Chobots. You can earn bugs to purchase clothing. Please don't ask users, or Chobots staff members, for items.

Best Styles

Hi Everyone,

You may remember the Music Jam we  had a few days ago. It was filled with tons of magic, colors, music, and even a little bit of rain. While that party was happening, the staff was looking for the best styles to reward them with some prizes and those users have been announced.

Music Jam Recap

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a great time at the Music Jam. This one for sure was better then the last one. For those who didn't make it, here is a recap for you all:

The Music Jam was filled with tons of colors, magic, and music! Some users provided their own magic while the mods helped out as well. 

A few users were even able to perform solo or with their band on the stage. All performances were great. 

The party was filled with a bit of rain too! It rained some regular shop items and even some coming soon items. One of them even happened to be the floral crown I designed so I hope you all are liking the crown. 

After a while of being in the stage area we decided to take the party outside to the Rockemall St so the junior users can enjoy the party as well! 

I hope you all had an amazing time at the Music Jam and I hope you enjoyed this Recap.

Music Jame!

Hi Everyone!

Super quick post notifying you all that Chobots will be hosting another Music Jam! Since music has such a huge impact on all of us Chobots decided to host yet another one. So get your instruments, bands, and outfits ready. This music jam will consist of loads of magic, rain, color, and of course music.

Join us TODAY, Wednesday, the 21st of August, at 5:30PM Cho-Time at the Music Stage with your instruments so we can all have a great time.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had an amazing time for the B&W weekend! It was filled with such nice events so let's begin the recap!

We started off the weekend with a fashion show hosted by ToastyTim and Art (pictures in slideshow).  everyone seemed to have enjoyed it including myself. We had some amazing winners and I hope you all had a good time participating.

On Sunday we had the B&W party (pictures in slideshow). It was filled with some amazing music from the 50's and with some interesting magic and the occasional moments of color. Here are some opinions of what users had to say about the party (only showing a few).

Ludiee: It was fabulous I liked the music, it changed up things a bit and brought us back to the old times!!! Plus good rain mhm fabu

Bacachoo: The party was fun and lots of people seemed to enjoyed it. The music selection was amazing as well. 

Sylva: One of the best parties there has been in a long time. I think many people had fun,  the rain and magic was balanced out well and I think many users are quite glad with the result of the party.

Fangirl9091: Oo, the party was awesome! :D

During the party staff stated how they were going to pick the best black and white outfits and here they are:

Good job you four! For your great fashion sense Chobots would like to reward you with a bicycle. Be sure to comment here which color you'd like if haven't already.

Recent Cho-Updates!

Hi Everyone!

We've had quite a few updates these last couple of days so let's get started.

For one, the councilors were announced not too long ago so congratulations to everyone again x.
Councilors received a badge which brings me up to my next update.

They have re-designed three of the badges! Forum Legend, Journalist, and even Councilor badges got a whole new look! I must admit, I will miss the old badges for forum and journalist but these are very nice! They seem very 'up to date' in my opinion and everyone seems to be loving the new look.

On to the next update, as you may now know trading has come back to Chobots. It was highly requested from users and I think it'd a good 'come back' When purchasing Citizenship you are now able to unlock the feature to trade! So be sure to purchase and unlock the feature if you'd like.

Another new feature is small but I think it's a nice detail to have on Chobots. 

You are able to get notified when a friend of yours is online! When you enable it, it'll notify you on the side saying they've come online. (You are also able to disable it.)

On to the last update! It's small but I thought I'd share. I had suggested a color text change for one of the chat bubbles and it has been implemented! If you have purchased citizenship in June for a year, you may remember a chat bubble that was hard to read due to the text. Well, the text has been changed to white so if you want to use it, you're able to use it without any complications now.

New Citizenship!

Hi Everyone!

I have some pretty exciting news for you. I'm sure you'll all enjoy so let's begin. If you haven't noticed already, there has been NEW citizenship items added for the month of August (again).

These packages by far are my favorite! They have such nice items in each package and I'm sure everyone is enjoying them. With each package you are even able to get Flame Boots in exclusive colors! Also with the new citizenship packages, when purchasing it. You will unlock the ability to trade! Seems cool right?

Help Chopix!

Chopix has informed users that Nicho spies are on the loose so he needs our help to capture them.

New Staff Member!

Hide and Seek

Hi Everyone!

Playing hide and seek with friends can be very interesting when you're playing with friends. Wouldn't you agree? That's why today Chobots is hosting a hide and seek contest!

If you'd like to come and play hide and seek with some friends and even some mods then join everyone at Eco Street at 20:30 Chobots time (8:30PM). Once we're all there mods will leave Eco Street to go hide and our job is to go and find them. If you need help keeping track of when the contest will start, here is a timer: 

I hope a lot of you can make it. Oh and as a reminder: 

Mods can move themselves around or even make themselves completely invisable to make the game harder and more interesting. As a tip be sure to double check rooms and look very closely at your surroundings on Chobots.

Creativity Contest

Hi Everyone!

If you enjoy drawing, writing, or even making videos then I have a great contest for you! The Chobots team is hosting a Creativity Contest and I'm here to tell you about it

If you're interesting in participating then here is what you have to do:

For your entry you have to make a story of something that happened in the Chobots World. The occasion or plot doesn't have to be realistic, let your imagination and creativity shine and think of anything you'd like for the story. 

Although it doesn't have to be realistic, it also just can't be random. Your story has to contain characters, a plot, and a location. 

Your story doesn't have to have a specific format, that's also where you can show off your creativity. 

• You can write some paragraphs and describe what's happening in your story.
•      You can draw your story on our graffiti walls or on a piece of paper.
•      You can write a script and film your story.
•      You can create a comic page with the events in your story.
•      You can create a scrapbook about your story.
•      You can show your story on TV.
•      You can write about your story in the newspaper.

The contest will last 1 week so you have until August 14th to submit your entries. After the contest has ended the winners will be announce shortly after and be rewarded some amazing prizes!

Get Ready to Rock!

Hi Everyone!

Music has such a huge influence on everyone in any and every way. It can even influence you on the way you present yourself. Since music has a big influence on us Chobots is hosting a Wednesday Music Jam! This August 7th, 2013!

You'll be able to Jam with all your friends on Chobots! Everyone is asked to purchase (or use a current) instrument for this event. Also, since this is a big event. What's a good event without a contest, right? So for this contest you will need to form a band (No smaller then 2 and no bigger than 5 Chobots per band) and play your instruments anywhere you'd like to on Chobots then take a photo (or video) of your band and submit it in the comments here. Be sure to use Tinypic as a photo uploader and YouTube as a video uploader.

Additional details: Be sure to include  the names of the members of your band and make sure usernames are showing. The winning band will receive 1 week of citizenship! Submissions will not longer be accepted after August 8th, 2013

Music Jam will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013, throughout the whole day

Trees Day!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you had or are having an amazing weekend. I also hope you have some time on your hands because Chobots has an interesting challenge for us Today, August 4th, our task is to take care of the trees on Chobots. How? We all have to work together and keep ALL the trees blue for 2 hours.

Here is the catch - you ONLY have 24 hours to complete this task. If you happen to fail, you'll have a chance again, one day.

If you all work together and complete this challenge, Chobots will reward us with a special prize for EVERYONE. So lets complete this challenge while we have the time and chance!

Space Racers

If you remember from a while ago, Chobots held a Space Racing contest. Even though they could only pick three winners, you all did amazing. Hopefully if you didn't win this time, you try winning future contests. Anyways, on to the winners:

$hop and citizenship updates

Hi Everyone!

 July has come to an end and it's been a great month, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I have. Now that it's a new month this means new updates for Chobots. Specifically $hop and Citizenship updates. If you like wings then you'll love the new $hop update! This month is the month of the wings and the $hop has some amazing wings to offer and the prices are great. The wings can compliment and complete any outfit and I'm sure you'll enjoy them! They've also added new limited citizen items, chat bubbles, and even new player card skins.

As for the new citizenship items, they have some pretty great packages this month. If you like anything space themed then this is the perfect month for you to purchase citizenship. The packages this month have such unique items I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Overall the $hop items and the new citizenship packages are by far a disappointment. If you're looking to add something new to your wardrobe be sure to check out the new stuff that has been added. My personal favorite is the Butterfly Magic wings, I love the look of it in general and the magic it gives off is really cute.
